When Honda introduced the CBX in 1978 it was the flagship of the Honda range and the first six-cylinder Japanese production motorcycle (Honda had produced a six-cylinder race bike in the sixties). Many argue the CBX was the beginning of the superbike. The 1,047 cc, 24-valve, twin-cam air-cooled inline-6 engine with 6 carburetors with its 105 horse power has the most amazing sound. LJK Setright (in our opinion the best motor journalist ever) wrote that "… the CBX engine is as responsive as a racer, [and the CBX is] the nicest motorcycle to ever reach the street."
The Classic Bike House CBX is in excellent condition in what we think is the nicest colour, silver metallic. The odometer reads 43,500 kilometers, which his believed genuine.
As always, contact us anytime for further information on the motorcycle, including high resolution further photos and live video walkaround inspection.
